- You need of chickpeas.
- Use of water or as required.

- Add chopped tomatoes,fried garlic, onion and blend it..
- Heat 2 tbsp oil,add kalonji and cumin seeds..
- When it start to splutter add garlic onion tomatoes paste in pot..
- Add salt, turmeric powder,chilli powder, corainder powder..
- Add half cup water and saute until the mixture leaves the sides of the pot..
- Add cooked chickpeas and enough water for gravy..
- Bring it to a boil and simmer until it reaches the desired consistency..
- Add garam masala powder, cover and set a side until serve..
- Chana masala Gravy is ready..
- Serve with rice or roti..
