  1. Get 1 medium of onion, chopped.
  2. Provide 1/2 piece of red pepper.
  3. You need 1 large of carrot.
  4. Prepare 1 can of lentils.
  5. Take 1 tsp of spicy pepper paste or 1 tomato.
  6. You need 2 clove of garlic.
  7. Prepare tsp of salt.

  1. Chop the onion, pepper, and carrot into small pieces..

  5. Add 4 cups of water and the lentils. Boil for about thirty minutes. Season with salt and pepper as necessary..
  6. Garnish (10 minutes before the end of the cooking time) with spicy pepper paste or 1 tomato and chopped greens if you have them..
